Our theme for the Summer Exhibition is Raindrops, Reflections and Sunny Days – all of which can be found on a typical Scottish day. So how will our artists interpret this theme? Will they refer to inspirational artists from the past or even contemporary ones from their local areas? Will they be innovative in their interpretations when using their paints, clay or other mediums? Our titles are always broad enough for the lateral thinkers amongst our creatives. We are never disappointed with what they come up with and likewise we are always quite surprised by some of the submissions.

Spring Blog - March

With spring comes transformation - and we start the 2024 spring season with transformations of our own in the Gallery. Our first Quarterly Themed exhibition - aptly named “The Art of Transformation”. The first of our newly designed seasonal brochures. Another first is adopting a reindeer as our Company Mascot. What is in a name change? Does it really matter what our street name is? What do we feel about the name of our street? And should anyone, including ourselves, be able to change it just because we associate it with events or people we disagree with? Who would be harmed from any change?
